We are very sorry to announce that our sugarbush will be closed again this year.
We expect to be back in 2022 and look forward to seeing you then.
We also expect to be open for Christmas Trees starting November 27 this year.

We have been proud to offer educational tours of our farms since 1964. The Sugarbush Tour is appropriate for people of any age. Feel free to contact us for further information or reservations.




(Horton's Home Farm - March / April)

Celebrate the arrival of spring in the traditional Canadian fashion. Enjoy an educational natural outing combined with fun and tasty treats! We offer 3 program options:

  • Sugarbush tour
  • Sugarbush tour and Pancakes
  • All day Tour - Includes sugarbush tour, pancakes and survival exercise (bivouac building, survival skills, firelighting, scavenger hunt)


  • Guided tours - lessons in Maple Syrup production, trees, nature appreciation, ecology
  • Wagon rides
  • Sap and syrup samples
  • Log cabins and museum
  • Hiking trails
  • Delicious pancakes with real maple syrup
  • Hot chocolate
  • Pure maple products

Group Tour prices (Cancelled):

  • Morning and afternoon tours (1.5-2 hours) - $7.00 per person (minimum $100.00).
  • All day tours (3-4 hours) - $15.00 per child (includes sugarbush tour, pancake lunch and survival exercise).
  • Pancake lunch - $5.00 per person (includes 2 pancakes, pure maple syrup and hot chocolate).
  • Hot chocolate - $1.00 per person.
  • (HST Included)
Dates and hours of Operation for Group Tours:
Formal group tours (20 or more people) are available on weekends and weekdays from mid March to early April.
Tours run between 9am and 4pm. Please call 905-888-1738 for reservations.

Take Hwy. 404 to Aurora Sideroad. Follow yellow signs EAST 3 km. on Aurora Sideroad, then SOUTH 1 km on Warden Avenue, then WEST 200 metres on Slater Rd.
